Event Update Sunday 9/20/15

The Black and White Charity Ball was a success and (was) definitely the gala event of the year!

The evening flowed ever so smoothly thanks to the event's Chairperson, Malou Cu, as well as Fr. Rene's & Fr. Ed's, "Angels".

Deacon Nestor did a fantastic job as Master of Ceremonies and Christine Adiaz sang the opening number, "The Power of One" beautifully, as a select group of dancers comprised of Children's Choir moms and members of the St. Augustine Chorale rendered a touching dance number to the song.

From the elegant decorations, to the sumptuous food, the lighting, the entertainment, the music, to the crowded dance floor, one could tell that all the intricate details were methodically thought out by the committee.

The Charity Ball raised over $155,000 before the evening ended. All proceeds will go toward the renovation of the Sanctuary.

On behalf of Fr. Rene, Fr. Ed, the Staff, and the Ways & Means Committee, we offer our sincere thanks and gratitude to all of you, for your kind and generous support!

May God's abundant blessings continue to pour over you.
